As Italians, we bring an invaluable heritage of expertise and creativity to the world, and we call it "Made in Italy." This is not only expressed in traditional sectors, but also in highly technological fields such as fire safety. Every day at Mozzanica, we see how much Italian ingenuity is appreciated abroad, with our systems protecting critical infrastructure across four continents.

The market data looks especially promising. The United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia present significant opportunities, with projected growth of 17.2% and 8.8% respectively for 2025. Vietnam is also an emerging market of great interest. At Mozzanica we actively contribute to these results: 35% of our revenue comes from abroad, with very strong prospects, especially in the Oil & Gas sector.

At the same time, Artificial Intelligence is redefining the way companies operate. As the movie The Matrix prophetically reminds us, humanity gave life to AI, which is now a part of our daily lives, supported by investments worth millions. This technological advancement is also entering our sector, offering solutions that are reshaping protection standards.

Our Chief Financial Officer, Claudio Tedesco, confirmed this in a recent blog post, where he emphasized how AI is supporting project management on a global scale, enhancing processes and business efficiency.

Vincenzo Morra, our Service Director, adds that AI could soon have a positive impact on service management: from spare parts monitoring to staff training.

We are at the dawn of a new technological era, full of opportunities but also challenges. Let's not forget that Italy has historically been at the forefront of technological innovation. In 1981, with the M24, Olivetti was one of the first companies in the world to manufacture personal computers. Today, under TIM's leadership, our country is focused on new IoT (Internet of Things) solutions.

In fire safety and indeed in all areas, the implementation of AI requires a balanced approach that considers ethical and regulatory aspects, positioning it as a tool that enhances, rather than replaces, human intelligence. This is especially important when it comes to younger generations, who must not trade their unique and inimitable intellect for something that could slow down their development.

That’s why next-generation systems won’t just detect fires—they’ll be expected to anticipate risk scenarios through predictive analysis of environmental and behavioral parameters.

Next-generation systems are already being developed that integrate visual recognition algorithms and multiparametric analysis to detect early warning signs of fire, drastically reducing response times.

At Mozzanica we are always looking for solutions that can improve fire protection design, helping to shape a future where safety becomes proactive and personalized.

The characteristics that have always distinguished us Italians – creativity, flexibility and the ability to handle the unexpected while maintaining high standards – will continue to be our strength, even in an increasingly technological and complex world.

With the “M” in our logo incorporating the colors of the Italian flag, we proudly remind everyone that behind every installed system lies Italian ingenuity and passion. This is the true “Made in Italy”: an ecosystem where expertise and human capital intersect with advanced technology and predictive algorithms capable of anticipating potential risk scenarios and, as a result, identifying the best solutions to face them, overcome them and rise above them.
