Fire detection systems as well as toxic and flammable mixture detection systems are undoubtedly an essential element in order to activate all the procedures for securing facilities and people.
Through an in-depth reading of the risk assessment document, and thanks to a thirty-year presence in the market of companies at high risk of fire, and continuous research and development, Mozzanica is able to recommend the most suitable technology to make a system both effective and efficient.

Industrial Fire & gas systems

Industrial

Mozzanica manufactures conventional and analogic detection F.A.C.P. (MFCP e LFCP) assembled at our workshop. Fire detection systems are often integrated with gas detection systems and EVAC control units, thus enabling better management of shared logistics with the client for activating alarm procedures.

During the engineering phase, the Project Manager's staff verifies the performance and the coverage of fire and gas detection and sound diffusion equipment, to ensure suitable coverage according to the processes, layouts and noise detected in the areas.

Mozzanica has a laboratory where control units are assembled in 19" racks and the integrated systems are pre-tested.

Mozzanica is able to develop turnkey projects with the following types of fire and gas detection technology:

Gas detection

  • Open path gas sensor
  • Electrochemical sensors
  • Infrared sensors
  • PID sensors
  • Catalytic sensors

Fire detection

  • High-sensitivity smoke and gas extraction systems
  • Fiber optic systems for linear thermal detection
  • Thermographic systems with data analysis from thermal cameras
  • Certified thermosensitive cable
  • Flame detection UV/IR
  • Smoke and gas detection with aspiration V.E.S.D.A.

All systems can be integrated into cloud platforms that allow for both on-site and remote control with the help of graphical maps enabling continuous monitoring of the alarm or equipment failure status. Mozzanica's proprietary SeeIT system can be viewed on our website.

Mozzanica staff will provide routine equipment maintenance services and are available 24/7 via telephone through an operations center.

Marine

In the marine sector where there are many risks, these kinds of systems are extremely important. Mozzanica can assist the client by taking care of design, installation and testing.

Thanks to collaborations with major manufacturers in the sector, Mozzanica is able to provide a wide range of detectors (smoke, heat, gas, flame, oil mist), always in accordance with the customer's technical specifications.

Developments in technology are providing increasingly "smart" detectors that are capable of higher performance in terms of signal detection and identification while reducing the number of false alarms.

Therefore, based on the customer's requests and needs, Mozzanica is able to design and install systems administered by:

  • Conventional or analog/directed fire detection control panels
  • Control panels for the detection of toxic or noxious gases
  • Control panels for the detection of flammable and explosive gases
  • Safety PLC and supervisory systems for high risks

System applications

  • Machinery rooms
  • Technical rooms
  • Ro-Ro decks
  • Public areas and cabins
  • Other areas
